His company, JOF, has a division that manufactures industrial and edible salt and other intermediate food ingredients, which are supplied to some multinational companies in the Food and Beverage Industry, such as Nestle, Unilever, Promasidor, etc. In 2014, JOF was recognized by the Federal Government of Nigeria as one of the top 100 businesses in Nigeria, along with Nigerian Breweries Plc, Shell Petroleum Company Plc, Nestle Nigeria Plc, and others. Dr. Olugboyegun is presently an Executive Council Member of the International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria and also the Vice-Chair of the Global ICC Commission on Customs and Trade Facilitation. He is a member of the Institute of Directors of London. He is the Chairman of Tulip Cocoa Processing Company Limited, a foremost Cocoa Processing Company in Nigeria and a subsidiary of Ampimex International BV, one of the significant cocoa products suppliers/traders in Europe. He is also the Chairman of Agrifa International Limited, an agro-allied company presently investing in Oil Palm & Plantain Plantations in Ogun State. He is a Director of the Ondo State Investment Promotion Agency (ONDIPA) and Ondo State Education Trust Fund and one-time Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association Lagos Branch. His contributions cut across several sectors. He was conferred with the Fellowship Award of Owo Anglican Diocese very recently for his contribution to the church. His organization played a leading role in supporting the activities of Amotekun in Ogun State, an outfit responsible for promoting security in the South Western States of Nigeria. Dr. Segun Olugboyegun is a big-hearted individual and lover of football. He has sponsored several youth competitions and rolled out numerous scholarships to indigent youths in Ondo State and other locations of his investments. His humanitarian gesture recently earned him an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree from Adekunle Ajasin University of Ondo State. He is married with children. He enjoys reading, skiing, and watching football.
