We are proud to announce the official launch of operations for the Byte Busters Coding Club in Lagos State, marking a major milestone in our ongoing mission to equip Nigerian youth with essential digital and technological skills for the future.

The Byte Busters Coding Club is the flagship initiative of the DEFINED Project - a youth-focused digital literacy program of the Odu’a Investment Foundation, dedicated to bridging the digital divide across Nigeria. With successful centers already established in five other Southwestern states, Lagos now becomes the 6th state to join this transformative movement. Each new location brings us closer to nurturing a generation of tech-savvy, innovative, and globally competitive young Nigerians.

This launch is the result of months of strategic collaboration with key government stakeholders, education partners, and community leaders who share a common vision: to provide every child with access to the tools and knowledge that can shape their future. With this strong institutional backing, Byte Busters is set to play a pivotal role in building a digitally empowered generation.

The inaugural program in Lagos is kicking off at Aje Comprehensive High School, Yaba, under Lagos State Education District IV. This first implementation is more than a coding club - it is a gateway to opportunity, innovation, and transformation. Students will engage in hands-on learning, project-based instruction, and real-world tech applications that will introduce them to the possibilities of the digital age.

“Our goal is simple but powerful: to equip teenagers with the tools they need to thrive in the digital economy,” said the Project Officers. “We believe every young person deserves the chance to learn, create, and innovate with technology - regardless of their background or location.”

Through Byte Busters, participating students will gain foundational computer and programming skills, while being mentored by experienced tech professionals. The curriculum is carefully designed to spark creativity, develop critical thinking, and strengthen problem-solving abilities - core competencies for success in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

As the program continues to expand, additional schools across Lagos will be onboarded, ensuring that the vision of a digitally inclusive Nigeria is realized - one school, one student, one innovation at a time.
